I didn't go. I just posted for others.
I adore him.
However, I will not go see him at a small venue where he's the headliner.
I've tried in the past and given up and left before he came on.
I've heard about other shows where he came on at 1 or later (doors 8; show 9) and then did a half hour set.
I know that's not all *that* unusual in hiphop, but I ain't tryna pay the kind of money it takes to see him and then sit around drinking while I wait so that I don't even see straight when the show starts.
I thought he did a good job at Rock the Bells, but that show was held relatively tightly to scheduling. I thought Kweli was tighter (although the sound for TK was awful and it didn't clear up until Mos came on), and I've seen Kweli more than once at smaller venues and been *very* happy.
